Best Crossbow Accessories

Since all of these crossbows are on the very high end of the market price wise, it is expected that they come fully featured with the best accessories. Some of these items include carrying cases, quivers, arrows, string dampeners, and more. I will briefly point out some of the unique accessories for each of the top crossbows.

TenPoint Venom Xtra Accessories

  • Range Master Pro Scope
  • ACUdraw Cocking Mechanism

The TenPoint Venom Xtra accessories include a Range Master Pro scope which is a top of the line scope. It offers different dots that are calibrated at different ranges and also allows for up to 5x optical viewing. Below is a quick video that goes over the benefits of the scope.

Also included with the TenPoint Venom Xtra is the ACUdraw Cocking Mechanism. This awesome accessory allows you to reduce the draw weight of the bow to 5 lbs! Yes, you read that correctly, you can essentially cock the Venom Xtra with your index finger.

Barnett Ghost 415 Accessories

The Barnett Ghost 415 accessories are fairly standard except for two things. It does include an incredibly lightweight riser, patented as Carbon Riser Technology. This helps keep the bow nice and balanced. Also it includes a TriggerTech trigger, which gives it the smoothest shooting crossbow trigger on the market. This crossbow packs a huge punch at 153 ft. lbs. of kinetic energy! By far the hardest hitting crossbow in this list. It also has a nice string dampening system which makes it very quiet.

Parker Concorde Accessories

The Parker Concorde Quick Draw System is a revolutionary accessory. It is essentially an auto cocker for your crossbow with just the push of a button. The Quick Draw system is powered by a C02 cartridge which is included. Below is a short video showing this accessory in action.

Additional accessories for the Parker Concorde crossbow are a Red Hot scope and ambidextrous safety. The Red Hot scope is Parker's patented scope that is multi-reticle and illuminated.

Excalibur Matrix Bulldog 400

The Excalibur Matrix Bulldog 400 comes with Tact-Zone illuminated scope, which is Excalibur's top of the line scope. It also includes an ambidextrous cheekpiece which is great for left handed shooters. This crossbow doesn't have anything too fancy, but it is on the lighter side, coming in at 6.2 pounds. Even at its light weight, it can still fire off an arrow at 400 FPS, making this a great crossbow for long hunting trips. For more information, read my in-depth review of the Excalibur Matrix Bulldog 400 crossbow.

Horton Storm RDX

Horton was bought out by TenPoint Crossbow Technologies, but still releases crossbows under their original name. The Horton Storm RDX is a unique crossbow with its ultra-narrow design using reverse draw. This will allow you to use this crossbow in tight spaces, but still provides a great shooting experience. Also included is the ACUdraw system, or the Dedd Sled 50 cocking mechanism. Below is a brief video covering all of the cool accessories on the Horton Storm RDX crossbow.

Best Crossbow Quality

The crossbow manufacturer with the best quality is TenPoint, and it's not even close. Being completely objective, take a look at the ratings for all TenPoint crossbows on Amazon. Just about all of them are at 4.5 to 5 stars. No other manufacturer can claim that. However, you definitely have to pay for the quality as TenPoint crossbows are typically the most expensive option in each category. If you're looking for the best crossbow on the market, then you will be paying a pretty penny, but boy do you get your money's worth!

Best Crossbow On The Market

Verdict, the best crossbow on the market is the TenPoint Venom Xtra crossbow. Yes, it is one of the most expensive packages available, but TenPoint makes some of the top rated crossbows. You get everything you need to go hunting. It comes with a nice soft case for storage, 6 Pro Elite Carbon Arrows and a quiver. It also includes a string dampening system as well as an extra noise dampening package. Its ACUdraw accessory makes hunting even easier as you don't even have to get up to cock your crossbow. This crossbow makes your hunting trips more enjoyable as you can focus more on hunting. The ACUdraw system not only lets you leave your rope cocker at home, but it cocks the exact same way every time which will improve your accuracy. All TenPoint crossbows are proudly made in America, so you know it's sourced with high quality parts. Additionally, TenPoint crossbows come with a lifetime warranty, so your investment is protected from defects.

Best Crossbow For The Money

Not everyone will want to shell out the money for the Venom Xtra which is understandable. For that reason, I'm choosing the Barnett Ghost 415 Revenant as the best crossbow for the money. It packs a mean punch and will take down just about any game you want to hunt. 153 ft. lbs. of kinetic energy is almost 15% harder hitting than the next crossbow on this list! It also shoots arrows at 415 FPS, making it the fastest crossbow in this list. This is the best Barnett crossbow by far, and adds more value than Barnett's top selling Ghost 410. Additional Thoughts

The Parker Concorde has the most unique feature, its ability to auto cock your crossbow. Talk about living the life! It has the lowest kinetic energy of the group, but you can reload so quick with it, you'll have a higher chance of taking some meat home. The Excalibur Matrix Bulldog 400 is very lightweight, and would do well for you if you typically are in the field for a long time. The Horton Storm RDX is a fantastic choice if you like to hunt in tight spaces.
